Scrapbook Page

The long days of winter are ending and some of you are frantically trying to update photo albums before all the spring work begins. Here a first day of school picture from 1968 finds a new home with the new fancy paper as a background.

Embellished with the use of stamps, by stamping and cutting out the image, you add a nice 3-D effect. Labels, brads, and diagonal strips of paper add further accent.

I am so far behind on my photo albums I don't know if it's possible to ever get done! You are inspiring me to dig in and do at least some of it. I like your pages with the old photos. I've had in mind to do an album for each of my 5 kids, ranging in age from 35 to 43. Lots of pictures to chose from, but nothing like the amount I have since I got a digital camera!

That looks terrific. Mandy just told me she's taking a scrapbooking class, and has started doing her wedding photos. I think she's really enjoying it. Nice job on the page you posted.
